I am in favor of air bags as I had them on several trucks, but for better handling you need to move center of gravity.
Sounds like your front axle is not having enough load, so you need to work on this.
Move whatever you can from the back of the camper to the front, or even inside the truck cabin.
I experienced that moving spare wheel from the rear onto front bumper makes huge difference.
Also it might be the angle of the picture, but looks like you might shorten your hitch.
