According to my owner's manual the COG for my model is 40 1/4". After measuring my truck bed, it puts it 1 1/4" rearward from the center of my rear axle. That's pretty darn close to being center axle. Now I do have a few things in the rear cargo area, but it's not very much weight, and we don't really add a ton of stuff in the camper itself, we try to pack most in the truck and boat.
