The RV in your sig has about 12,350# GVWR with 20% pin weight you are at 2,470#. Does your truck sit level or is the rear lower than the front loaded?
The pin when weighed was 2360# it has about a 3" drop but it is level when not hooked up
I I understand you correctly your rear is 3" lower than the front with RV attached? If so potential buyers this is a perfect example of why you should opt for the 350 if choosing Ford.
That's not what this is about!
Really? You just admitted what I was saying.
"I thought having the camper pkg would of worked better"
Fact is you already made the mistake of not getting the 350 so it's too late for you but for others "LOOKING" this is very relevant!
Cummins, it is NOT just the new Fords, also Ram and GMC, have softened the springs and leveled the trucks so every inch of sag shows. It is part of the all about the empty ride thing.
My 2001, sits with a$$ high stance empty, then looses about 1.5" of that when I set 2,200# of pin on it. Yes, the empty ride is "Firm".
I don't need or want bags, yet as towing is good.
PS: To Cummins, you also have the factory Air Suspension, so you also use air bags to level the load.
My 2001 does have Camper and Tow packages so has a bit extra spring than a non camper rig.
There is no need for a 350 to carry/pull that fiver.
