Not exactly vast in number as you probably noticed.They are doing conversions on HD Diesel Pickups, about 2000 all up sold annually.
The US Pickups are more CAR/ Truck than the Hino light truck . If it came down to it you could have the equivalent of a F750 4x4 towing it
Last Ford F150's were sold in 1992 in Australia What is sitting next to it killed the F150's. Last F250/ F350's were sold from Ford in 2006, all Diesels


Of the 2000 conversions done here( none sold from a OEM dealer), most are " Lifestyle Vehicles", others are PR vehicles, some are used for towing. What is more surprising is we are the greatest users of US Pickups outside NA
