We have an air bed as opposed to an air mattress. In fact we have the same set up in the RV as we do in the S&B. Air beds are built to be used every night for years, air mattresses are for occasional use.
The key is to purchase a good quality airbed. You can sometimes get factory returns with warrenty for about 1/2 the store price.
