Got my bags on today. Got my tire pressure dialed in for daily driving, running the 285/70/19.5 Michelin XDS 2's at 85 psi, they run smooth. Haven't loaded up my TC yet, but I figure they will be taken up to 110 psi and see how it goes. They are rared for 120 psi, but I won't be loading them to max (thank god) of 6395 a tire.So, put the bags on, manufacturer recommended 30 psi and run for 10 miles for a break in and test for any issues. Truck rode fine, did not really notice them much. What do you guys run for daily non-loaded pressure? What about loaded? I figured I would just level it but open to hear how do you run yours.FYI, I also run lower stabloads as well. Thanks all, truck has come a long way. Unfortunately I might have to add in a leveling kit, getting some minor rubbing that annoys me.

The MFG list a minimum pressure to run your airbags unloaded to avoid pinches. as far as loaded. just enough pressure to level the bed and not enough to disengage the upper stable loads if you have them.

5 psi is the minimum, is that what is to be done or do some run mlre?

I had 245's, not the 285's. And I was running a 206 Dodge 2wd/Cummins.Gman

Yeah these tires are a full 35" tall so I'm stuck lifting it to eliminate the steering rub.

I run 0-10psi in my airbags when unloaded (they have internal bumpstops, so manufacturer says it's ok to run with no air) and 65psi with my camper loaded (Wolf Creek 850). Truck is a 2002 F-250. The truck sits level and rides well at that pressure, but it also has an add-a-leaf that's part of the 4" lift kit.

In cab is interesting. I wanted to keep the run short and installed my valves in the wheel well on each side to avoid having to crawl under the camper, but I do like the in cab idea.

my fillers will be on the passenger side, lower front of the bed where i can use my bicycle floor pump, not be in traffic or have to crawl under the tc

Before I installed the in-cab controller, I sat in the seat and aired up with a small battery operated compressor. I have been known to use a bicycle pump. I never got my hair wet.

Interesting. I hadn't thought of putting them inside the cab, but it certainly makes sense.

I have ran airbags for years. I have put fillers in various locations. My preference is below the dash to the left of the steering wheel. I can fill them from outside the cab or sitting in the driver seat. The valves are always clean and I do not have to deal with mud, rain, snow or wind to fill them. I did eventually install the in-cab controller, but still have the manual fillers under the dash.

I've been really happy with them. The only thing I didn't do that I wish I had (and I still will when I get around to it) is add the onboard air compressor. I have the two fill valves installed through my lower license plate bolt holes, which means I have to crawl under to inflate them (unless I have the foresight to do it before loading the camper, which never seems to happen) and I have no means of adjusting them while driving (not that it's been necessary to do that, so far). At least they don't leak, so filling them is a once per trip thing.

What I went with.

Install was easy, less than an hour and seems like a quality product. Have a $50 dollar rebate right now too.
