I disagree, the road conditions are what you feel the most not the RV.
I've done Air Lift air bags, Timbrens, StableLoads, multiple types of tires, all different air pressures, multiple types of shocks, and more. I ended up with a Kelderman air suspension in the end, but you know what the biggest single improvement was from?
Going to the Trailer Saver BD3.
The Kelderman is great and makes the unloaded ride much better than the Air Lift bags - and it makes handling much, much better than springs in all situations. But for
ride quality, isn't a drastic improvement when loaded (it is an improvement, just not a huge one). On the other hand, the BD3 decoupling the forces of the trailer from the tow vehicle makes a huge difference. When you go over an expansion joint, and the pin starts to bob, air absorbs it instead of a rigid connection forcing you to.
I did miss the part about Op having a TT and not a fiver, but my opinion about the air hitch being the biggest improvement for a fiver still stands.
