I notice there aren't many topics out there about Airstreams compared to other travel trailers. I assume becuae they are priced pretty high. Looking (thinking about it) to buy a 10-15 year old Air...

If I felt I could afford one I'd buy it in an instant! The durability is legend. I think the statistic is that something like 60% of all built since 1930 are still on the road.
I loved my top of the line Lance camper and miss many of the not-so-apparent features now that I have a run of the mill TT. Examples - roll out shelves standard, cedar-lined cabinets standard. awning over slide standard, etc, etc. Oh yeah, when I purchased even a 2 year warranty standard!
I imagine that an Airstream would have similar and even more features. I believe they are the only manufacturer in the industry that still has the 2 year warranty. I know Lance discontinued it a few years back.
