I have similar issues, but not quite as bad (been through ~20 cars in the last 20 years). It's tough for some folks to stick with certain things for very long. I know I'm doing my very best to not switch cars again for at least another 2-3 years, but history proves that it probably won't happen.
Is there a real reason for the change, or is it just an emotional decision? If there isn't a real reason then I would probably try to stick it out for a few years until there is one, but that's just me. In the end you have to remember "Happy Wife, Happy Life." I pissed mine off with a car purchase once about 6 years ago and sometimes I feel like I'm still paying for it.
YMMV
