Tell her if you get the Airstream you will be happy with it and keep it for a long time. That will make her happy. And you will have a trailer that outlasts the payments. Maybe that will also make her happy. Many consider Airstream the pinnacle of travel trailer ownership. That should make both you and her happy. So......if you and your wife want to be happy..... and who doesn't want to be happy.....go for it. I see no reason not to. Post pics when you get it.
