Heheheh ... well most times, and certainly in this case, I think. Women are often way more practical and we should use this as a check/balance when we like to get some new toy.
As for the OP - I don't think that we ever heard why he wants to move away from the trailer he has presently and what his wife's counter-points might be.
Regarding Airstreams - I love their build quality and innovation. That's it. Nothing else justifies their price and cramped space and lack of storage. Just my opinion of course.
