Since no one here was willing to say or didn't know what kind of percentage discount from the MSRP a buyer can expect, I did a bit of research.
Some dealers do advertise discounts on the net raging from 8% to 12%. I saw one advertised with a 19% discount. I almost busted my gut laughing when one dealer told me he's willing to discount the price about 10% and only make 1% profit. Another dealer offered 16% discount when contacted by email. I think it is fair to say that a buyer can expect to negotiate a 20% discount, maybe even more under the right circumstances.
Some private sellers are deluding themselves by thinking they are going to get close to MSRP for their used units. Some of them are asking more than what a new one would cost based on the discounts I mentioned above.
