23ft max. I pull with a 5.3 and in the mountains of Pa it has to work a little harder. but no problem on the flats of RT95 or RT81. You should be OK with your 4.7 on flatland.JMHO

69 Avion is correct. It appears that up to about 2005 or 6 the frames on the 22ft models had problems. Then a "kit" seems to have fixed some of those issues. In any case I would avoid those years in that length trailer.

We have owned 3 different Airstreams. We started off with a 25ft then 19ft and currently 23ft. You could pull a 25ft but that would be pushing/exceeding the limits. I don't think you would enjoy the towing experience as much. Neither would your truck. I would go with the 22 to 23ft range. We found the 19ft fun and easy to pull but tight for space. The 22 and 23ft Flying Cloud models offer a wide range of setups and surly you can find something you like.

There are a few factors that go into your trucks abilities. Trim types, cab type, 2wd/4wd, rear gears, towing package, etc...

Check your owners manual for max towing capacity. Also, payload capacity (occupants + cargo + tongue weight) needs to be factored in to ensure you are not over.

Yes you can pull a travel trailer. I have a friend that pulls a 4500 ish lb hybrid around and that 4.7 does just fine. Airstreams are a little different as they are easier to pull through the air. Remember that you are punching a huge hole in the air. The lower the profile the smaller the hole is because more of the trailer is tucked in behind your truck. Pulling an airstream is easier due to the aerodynamics and is nothing like pulling the flat box that I have.

Also, with Airstreams the hole you have to punch for a 16 ft Bambi is about the same as a 25 ft International. I would have no problem pulling 5500-6500 ish lb airstream with your truck.

Google Can-Am RV in London, Ontario Canada and just tell the lady who answers that you have a towing question. They love talking towing there and will give you solid advice on pulling an airstream. They are an Airstream dealer.
