I was in the same situation, lots of fly-fishing gear and camping gear left in the rv all the time. I went with a quality system that has a 125 decibel siren. When it goes off (on our rv pad)it will wake me in the house from a sound sleep, and literally dropped a young girl to her knees one day when she hit the rv with a basketball. It also flashes all the marker lights and park lights when activated. Nobody in their right mind would stick around with that noise and light show.
