Nice pix and captions. SE AK is a tough nut to crack if you are in a TC. So much so that we avoided it entirely on our 9K mile AK foray in 2003. We purposely took as many remote dirt and gravel roads as we could driving about 2500 miles on gravel and dirt.

and this was in June, the so-called 'dry season' in AK. This photo convinced me to fender up when we returned home. Why? A wood framed camper. Look at how much sludge is on the rear wings. Compare with the latest mud deflecting technology:
