Ste7of1 - Thanks for your comments and yes we did reserve most of our ferry crossings and campgrounds but no I don't think it's necessary except maybe around the holidays in the popular areas. We had to change up our plans a couple times and it was no problem, It was nice for us to know where we were staying ahead of time.
