Bits and bytes - With the cost of storage today, I am surprised any company sponsored forum, complete with advertisers, would complain about larger than 640x480 pictures. My phone provider offers lots of storage. My Kindle has tons of CLOUD storage. Microsoft offers me tons of CLOUD storage. My personal Laptop computer has 3/4 of a Terabyte storage. Computer and storage - less than a $1,000.
Now, posting pictures on the RV.net Forum, as you describe for storage, JumboJet, that is relevant to what you are describing, but not the point of this discussion.
I too, wish we could do away with the difficulty of posting pictures off site to then post on this forum. Ooops, that is just an inconvenience for a few!? Sort of like having photos oversized so you can't fit it on a screen. Hmmmm.
