I would go with the wet bolt kit as long as you are delving into the axle issues and if you have a Dexter axle also get the spring equalizers. They are rubber and work well. Some say they notice a better tow with the equalizers.I do have Dexter 6000# axles with the shackle type suspension. Good idea, I found this installation guide from someone who did the conversion.
