We took Chalet on 2 long trips (Alaska and Oregon/Washington) and it worked out just fine for the 2 of us. We made some modifications: left cushions at home and replaced it with a good futon mattress so bed was up all the time. We made new shorter dinette cushions and DH made a wood cabinet which spanned the front with 2 sliding doors instead of the factory storage cabinet on the floor. Under one dinette cushion, we kept a porta potty for emergencies. We eventually traded it off for a travel trailer and I miss that little Chalet. With it, we went camping on a moments notice and now it's harder to do that, but the new one has a real bathroom and a full size refrigerator which is nice too.
