All aluminum TT

I just discovered Livin' Lite/Camp Lite use all aluminum construction ! The only wood is the cabinet doors and faces (the cabinet frames are aluminum).

The walls are your (now typical) vacuum bonded fiberglass over solid foam insulation and aluminum "studs" with vinyl interior walls. Not sure about the floor. EDIT : From the factory tour PDF
1-1/2 inch vacuum bonded floors, reinforced in high traffic areas. Toy hauler floors use interlocking, fully-welded aluminum plank flooring

Are there any other "all aluminum" TT being manufactured ?
  • Yes...my Airstream is mostly Aluminum construction from the walls up....

My Outback is Aluminum framed with the foam filled walls. Its a 2013 model.
  • Oliver trailers have aluminum frames and the rest of the trailer is fiberglass. Very little wood if that is your concern.

I have no idea why they stop there.

I'd guess thermal and sound break?

  • In one of the Livin lite videos, it showed someone using a garden hose to wash out the interior . There's nothing to rot .
Finally i can do away with the shower curtain :B :E
  • Safari Condo I believe are aircraft aluminum and "composite".

Livin Lite was the first manuf I looked at after watching their infomercial on "How It's Made" ... attracted by the construction, turned away by the price.
