All electric vehicles?
I guess electrically powered vehicles are coming but seems to me they are presently only a rich person's toy with present technology. By that I mean, they're only good for around town and short trips ...

No doubt. But again, where is all this electricity to charge all these EVs going to come from? We as a country have been behind on electric power generation for years. So again where is all this new power going to come from?
Answer that before any discussions about EVs can begin!
