All electric vehicles?
I guess electrically powered vehicles are coming but seems to me they are presently only a rich person's toy with present technology. By that I mean, they're only good for around town and short trips ...

Tesla is losing huge money on every vehicle they sell. If they were to charge a profitable price, their sales would drop to zero. All the OEM's are currently fighting this issue. Customers won't pay the cost of an electric or hybrid vehicle.
Nope. As per their financials they make money on every vehicle. Are you getting CAPEX and Supercharger build out confused with margins?
And obviously some customers will pay the cost of an electric vehicle. Like 90,000 Teslas sold in the last three months alone. Nissan also shows positive margin on their leafs. Don't know about the rest.
they get a Government subsidy don't they. Seems it was in one of the "Green" bills. So they wouldn't go out of business, WE would pay part of the cost.
What subsidy does an EV manufacturer get?
