Nope. As per their financials they make money on every vehicle. Are you getting CAPEX and Supercharger build out confused with margins?
And obviously some customers will pay the cost of an electric vehicle. Like 90,000 Teslas sold in the last three months alone. Nissan also shows positive margin on their leafs. Don't know about the rest.
they get a Government subsidy don't they. Seems it was in one of the "Green" bills. So they wouldn't go out of business, WE would pay part of the cost.
What subsidy does an EV manufacturer get?
