All electric vehicles?
I guess electrically powered vehicles are coming but seems to me they are presently only a rich person's toy with present technology. By that I mean, they're only good for around town and short trips ...

I don't know anything about hybrids but what hybrid are you referring to. Seems odd. Its definitely not a Prius or a Volt. I have driven both and they are quick although no where as quick as any full electric.
