A quote from AAA:44"American appetite for electric vehicles is heating up. A new AAA survey shows that 20 percent or 50 million Americans will likely go electric for their next vehicle purchase, up from 15 percent in 2017. With lower-than-average ownership costs, increased driving ranges and the latest advanced safety features, AAA sees a strong future for electric vehicles."
Survey says and reality are two different things. If 15% were likely to go electric in 2017..."likely" is defined as it probably will happen thus it implies greater than 50% chance at a minimum...we should have seen at least 7.5% of all new sales as EV's...how much did we miss the mark by?
Sounds like the survey was poorly written or intentionally misleading.
