It is apparently getting more popular. Li-cycle website has some good info. About 5 percent is recycled right now with projections of 30 percent within 5 years. Even gigafactory is expected to get into the game. Thats the cool thing about EV's, they don't lithium,,,eg,,,lithium is not consumed in the process.
It will take awhile to develop the industry and as the one guy points out, there is not a lot to recycle yet, Give it a decade and that will change.
