I'm getting a BB gun... a little one.
Janet really enjoys opening packages...
But, when I was about 65 I proposed what I think is a good rule of thumb...
"If there is something you want, buy it, and open it immediately... enjoy it."
We see people buy stuff a week after Xmas for next years Xmas or birthdays... not us.
More than 1/2 of the people born on my birthday are dead...
... and the rest are dieing off at a pretty good clip.... they'll never enjoy those stashed presents... or goodies that they dreamed of but had to wait sometimes months for...
So, at our house Christmas is every day.
It does make it really hard on me this time of year... Janet still expects Santa to have some surprises... and they had better be wrapped nicely.
