Thanks Brian. The new property is just undeveloped hillside every bit as steep as mine, plus it has a gully running diagonally across it that's pretty deep at the down-hill end of the lot. My plans for it initially are to just clean it up a bit by removing a lot of the brushy undergrowth and saw-briar vine. No more garage though! :B This will be strictly a DMZ between us and any future development on that side.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the snakes. They're all curled up in their holes for the winter I'm sure, but they're there for sure. I see plenty of copperheads around here, but I've yet to see or hear a rattler. That could be because there are a few roadrunners living around here too. One of the few animals cunning enough to prey on poisonous snakes.
