I have about 60,000 on my michelin LT highway tread tires.
They are not to the wear bars yet but soon .
However , i am using an LT 265 /75 R 16 in a load range E tire on 8 inch wide weld aluminum wheels .
Stock was 245 /75R16 load range E on 6.5 " wide wheels .
I run these at 50 psi normal and go to 65 psi for heavy loads & towing .
Each tire has a 3415 # load rating at 80 PSI .
I think they are good for 2470 # each at 50 psi .
my duramax is about 6800 # in normal operation and has a 9200 # gvw rating .
Just under 4000 # actual on the front axle not towing and 3700 # on the front axle towing without equalizer hitch .
These michelins have stayed balanced throughout and have not shown any abnormal wear patterns . They are also still quiet ( highway tread ) .
I paid the cost up front and I am getting my payback right now .
