You may say soft sidewalls but with 40-50mph sidewinds 28K combined my rig was rock solid.
I'm not the one saying that the softer sidewall tires are not as good. I'm not the one saying sidewall is what keeps the tire from swaying side to side.;)
Ok fine
What tires are just as good? Because from what I have used and seen Michelins/BFG's are as good as it gets.
I'm not understanding your question.
Responding to your earlier statement.
"IMO there are better TV tires out there that get just as many miles."
Just for one, I run a set of GY SilentAmours for over 90,000 miles. About $40 cheaper than Michelin and better off road traction. I have a F350 at work on it's 3rd set of Continentals. Last set got 100,000 miles. BFG like you said, I have had great results.
I would try the GY tires on my truck but I usually buy my truck tires from Costco.
Actually the set of MS2's I bought last summer were from Discount and they beat Costco by $400. I was shocked and pleased!
The two sets of BFG's were 3rd gen take offs. I was very surprised at how long they lasted.
