Almost home after ~2000 miles - towing with a 1/2 a ton

Do a simple test. Push and pull the rear fender sideways of a half ton and then a three quarter ton pickup. You will feel quite a difference. The firmness of the heavier model pays off in more stability under all conditions. Having said that, I have happily towed thousands of miles with F-150's and 1500's. It is just easier and more pleasant with the 2500's.
