That's more a function of tire sidewall stiffness than the truck suspension. 3/4 truck usually come with LT tires instead of the P-metrics that the 1/2 tonners get.
That is what I thought too, until I put a set of LT's on my Silverado 1500. It changed the side to side stiffness by about fifty percent. Still did not compare to 2500HD.
