Wrong! Lances' come with a Two year warranty...THe second year covering structure....That's what you had a structure leak
It states in part:
Lance Structural Warranty wrote:
This warranty does not cover damage caused by or related to (1) normal wear and tear, (2) accidents, abuse, misuse or negligence, (3) failure to comply with instructions contained in the Owner’s Manual, (4) any alteration or modification of the Trailer, or (5) environmental conditions, including, but not limited to, road salt, hail, or windstorm. Nor does this warranty apply to parts made out of cloth, leather, wood, paint, or chrome, which have been affected by airborne fallout, including, but not limited to, chemicals and tree sap.
Now, look in your owners manual (RE: #3) and tell us if there is a part in there about doing maintenance to the AC gasket. I'm guessing there isn't.
Come on OP - don't take this lying down - the person at Lance who told you that is in serious CYA mode (Cover Your A$$).
Lance is featured in the recent Trailer Life magazine - came yesterday. You should work through them - if not Lance themselves, to get this resolved. I just hate to see someone bamboozeded like this.
Well - what are you going to do now?
