Aluminum repair more expensive than steel on vehicles

To the OP, Yes and yes. As far as disimilar metals are concerned, Ford has been using aluminum hoods/parts for some years without issue. I am certain the same technology will be used to expand the use of aluminum to the remainder of the body. Soon all will be made this way. I'm sure many were concerned when the use of plastics came on the scene also.
