Nope, I love my 93 regular cab long bed as my DD.
I don't like driving my Dmax 4 door long bed. The thing takes 3 football fields to turn around. I would much rather tow with my RC too except I need the room when I take more than 2 people. :(
So no, you're not the only one. :)
It is extreme statement like this that just blow my mind, it truthfully is a state of mind.
I DD my 2001 LB Quad cab, about maybe 18" than a Crew cab LB, never thing the length is an issue! We were talking replacement for a while and test drove a Crew cab LB, and didn't seem any bigger to me than than my current truck.
I will say I have always had a soft spot for the Ram 2nd Gen reg cab Short Bed 4X4 about as tall as they are long!!
Russ it's not the length, it's the turning radius.
I have an Acura with the same issue. It just does not turn sharp. My 93 6.5 diesel turns a lot sharper and makes all the difference in the world to me in these Kalifornia parking lots. :)
I would say it is a length and turning radius thing (at least for me). I took my truck out today to help my sister get sod. We went to two very small nurseries, no place to park (length), and even hard to maneuver through the parking lot due to turning radius.
Love my truck, and I wouldn't buy a short bed or regular cab again, but it isn't that easy to drive.
