We said he same thing this past weekend. An F150 pulling a 36ft TT similar to the one on my signature with an ATV in the bed. My 2500 gets close to the payload, cant imagine that non HD F150 was anywhere close. The other head scratcher was a mid 2000's Ram 1500 Crew cab with what looked to be about a 35 ft Fifth Wheel. The rear wheels were tucked up inside the fenders it was squatting so bad.
I was cruising next to an F150 on the expressway as well. 28' trailer, aluminum side AND a quad in the back of his truck as well. Amazingly it wasn't squatting much. Figured it had bags. He did slow quite a bit on the small Wisconsin hills though :)
I never felt comfortable towing my 28' with my Tundra and family in the truck. I made sure to take everything out of the truck and keep the trailer light. I can't imagine a quad in the bed plus the trailer too. It looked like it was towing straight though. With the 2500 ram it is so much better and I am not as concerned about bringing an extra couple logs for the camp fire now.
