I had the exact same generator on my MH and had the same issue. I also spent around $2,000 to get it repaired and still did the same thing. What I found out is that in my case the stator was bad. It seems that the original installation (After Market) was done incorrectly the installer cut the control cable shorter that what came from the factory, over time this is what did the stator in. This generator gave me nothing but trouble. Within the first year the generator had to be rebuilt (something went wrong with the rings), luckily it was still under warranty. In the next year I had to replace the choke and the year after that I had to replace the carburetor. Becouse of this generator I will never buy anything from generac. One of the biggest problems is that Generac wanted a small generator for RV use they rushed this generator into production and wound up having a lot of problems with it.
