6,900 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups from 2012 are bring recalled for front axle prop shafts that can "bind or fracture" and lead to a loss of power, Chrysler said. Two owners had reported serious front axle damage as a result, Chrysler said. Dealers will apply a fix, to be determined, at a date Chrysler did not announce.
In February, Chrysler recalled 278,222 pickup trucks and SUVs, including the 2011-2012 Ram, for rear axles that could suddenly lock up and cause the driver to lose control.
It thought Dodge used the 11.5 inch American Axle? GM and Dodge share it. Has that changed? Just like know about car/truck stuff.
