As far as LT vs P rated tires on your Silverado (I assume 1500), LTs will not increase your payload and/or axle ratings but will provide a more stable platform for towing loads that are at the top of your trucks ratings. They will definitely make the truck ride rougher. Also need to make sure your wheels can handle 80psi.
