Excellent visibility for everyone, and everyone had their own seat. Our kids are in their 30's now so we no longer have one. A full size van is the best value for the dollar, but a friend who has 6 kids and a 2012 Ford E-150 van has some complaints after living with it for a while. They wanted room to spread out, definitely needed more seating space than a Suburban. But, they complain that the rear seats do not recline or adjust in any way, so the van is great for short trips but not good for long trips.
For 6 people, an Expedition EL or Suburban would be great. Just don't let anyone talk you into a short wheelbase Expedition or Tahoe. You need to actually have usable space behind the third row seat.
