Ford better get their act together, they're only about 8 million recalled cars away from taking the record away from GM! - mooky_stinksExplorerRecalling 9 year old cars is "on top of problems"? OK! lol

All I have to say is that its a darn good thing this did not happen to the big Blue Oval... those Blue Kool-Aid (kindergarten) haters would be out in force . . . I agree that they are running scared and are doing the right thing by pulling EVERYTHING that does not line up perfectly ! !! Let's hope this does not do too much damage in the long run..
Aint that the truth. Somedays on here are just stupid with the Ford hate. I too think they are running scared but I would rather they do that than hide something for years that hurts someone. I guess you can call it progress.
Well, you asked for it. Today Ford recalled more than 1.3 million Ford SUVs, sedans for steering, fires

Ain't karma a *****! LOL
I think it is a good thing for Ford also to be on top of problems when they develop and they will come up. I guess they have about 10 million more to go to catch up with GM for this year - JIMNLINExplorer III

Look at the size of the recall about 500 units!!!
I think the mind set at GM has gone from hid it to if you hid anything you will be terminated!!!
I expect to see many recalls from GM, and like others for small groups of items in the coming years.
add it to the 500 last week for loose steering linkage, that is a 1000, then add it to the Tahoes with faulty seat belts, and the 10 million other vehicles they recalled for many various reasons last week. You got to admit GM is not having a good month / year. I'm personally scared to buy one, and For a minute there. I really wanted a GMC TV. GMCs look really good. And I get a supplier discount. But I'm scared of them now.
