I got some stuff from HD called "simple mat" tile setting mat.. looks like a fiberglass mat with the back side being VERY sticky and the front has small beads of glue on it.Comes in 9x18 inch sheets, the box will do 10 sq ft. It took me a while to figure out what they meant by "take the white paper off the back",, it is a waxy paper that is a pain to get started, but comes off easy when you get it started. My wall was a bit flexible too, cept on both ends, and there seemed to be some bracing about a foot up, so that was pretty solid. Since I put the tile up and got it all grouted and dry, the wall seems to be very solid now. Haven't pulled the trailer to go anyplace yet, but am sure it will be just fine. I used the unsanded grout, as they said the sanded would scratch the glass tile. The tile I got are only about an 1/8th inch thick I think, Made the wood for the trim around it,not sure I could buy any like I wanted, I have some sealer that I will put on after the grout is dry, the bottle says 48 hrs.
