Another question about off-truck storage

Thanks for the replies. So what I have learned that it has nothing to do with any kind of different structural integrity while sitting in the truck vs. sitting on another flat surface but more to do with "Tippage" which finally makes sense to me. So many times in life people will say to not do something a certain way but never say "why" so this answers my burning question! Thanks!
