Similar situation here, but I guess that's 'progress'. I was going out to work one morning in my 2015 Hyundai, and discovered I had a flat tire. I also discovered I had no spare. Had the imprint in the foam in the trunk where it should have been, so I assumed mfg. forgot to put it in. Neighbor comes over with plug kit to repair, as Im taking apart the trunk, under the seats, under the hood, looking for my jack. Finally, break out the owners manual, and guess what? No jack either!!!! What I had was a can of fix a flat, to fill my tire with to fill my tire for 50 miles, to "go to a tire dealer and replace the tire" (that's a quote from the manual).
My next car will have a key, not a 'fob', and a full size spare. I guess Im gonna be buying a car from the 70's or 80's.
