You've mentioned brake use before, but honestly it's simply not that big of a deal with a ICE car either. I have about 40,000 miles on my 6 year old car and have not had to deal with brake issues, or replace brake pads. And if I did, it's about $25 for the pads. So really that non-brake problems with an EV isn't really that much of an asset.
