Another TV question...long or short bed?
Clearly the long bed trucks have a pure advantage due to leverage, but how significant is the difference between a short bed and long bed F350 at 156.2" and 174.4", respectively? I'm towing a 36' TT ...

If you want to be able to haul lumber and drywall and can use the extra volume, get a long box. If mostly either towing or commuting or are a city dweller, get a short box. Now that we have a super cab, I could never go back to a regular cab. Can't imagine never being without an 8' bed. What I don't like is the 4WD. Never use it and I find for myself, the additional height also contributes to making it harder to maneuver.
It is only as big PITA as you make it!
I daily drive a TV that is that size and never have an issue! Heck my youngest daughter took her driving test in our Club Cab long bed, and aced parallel parking!
It is what you make of it!
