Update on the window:
The glass is 2.5 mm thick (1/0th of an inch), but the local stock is either 2mm or 3mm (1/8th) of an inch. I hope the extra .5 mm won't give me an issue when reinstalling it.
I got pricing all over the place, but none were too expensive. The cheapest6 I got $28.25 taxes included, and the most expensive was $70.15 taxes included.
Just for the record, the specs are W: 20 5/8" , H: 27 1/6" with 2 rounded corners. I wonder what the rates are like in the U.S. :)
So now I will take it apart, and get a new piece cut. If this works out, a broken window will be repaired for under 30 bucks: yay!!! :)
