Yes, I'm a general contractor and an HVAC consultant, so I've done most of this stuff before. Lucky me, because I'd be screwed (money-wise) if I didn't know how to do this. In retrospect. I could have done the bathroom in a template and just given myself a reference point for it. The thing is, I'm treating the entire trailer as a bathroom: I am caulking with bathroom grade silicone all around the perimeter of the vinyl. If a drop of water falls on it, it will not make its way under it. As an added bonus, I have sprayed mould protectant ( sounds like something that protects mould, right? hehe!) all under the vinyl and on the subfloor to make sure there is no place for mould to set it. The reason I say this, is that I purposefully made my cuts away from the wall so that the caulking will adhere to the subfloor and wall as well the vinyl sheet. I will be installing shoemoulding on all exposed edges to make it pretty for my wife. :)
