I was asked by my wife how much more work was left to do. So here it is:
- Finish caulking perimeter of vinyl flooring
- Install shoemoulding.
- Install vinyl flooring in front storage compartment.
- Adjust slide-out
- Test water heater.
test bathtub and check drain to ensure it's not leaking (I saw signs of water leaking there when I took the vinyl flooring off beside it). Fix if necessary.
- Find carriage bolts longer than 3" and install them
- Seal opening in floor under shower and in water heater cabinet.
- Switch all the bulbs to LEDs
- Repair plastic wheel fenders with fibreglass, and install and seal
- Install Tension bar levelling system and anti-sway friction bar.
- Clean EVERYTHING on the exterior - interior is pretty clean now that the new floor is in.
- Get 2 new tires (2 are have several cracks - looks like U.V. degradation. Gotta get wheel covers for them)
Lots of work still, but the furnace is working, and has been for over 24 hours straight. I am keeping it warm in order to pull out any moisture I can out of the fresh lumber and whatever may be in the remainder of the trailer...
Fridge works on propane, which is good. I'll test the electric part later. Haven't tested the oven yet. Maybe we'll cook a turkey... :)
