Weekend done, and with it some progress on the list, as well as some adjusting of the list to allow for some unforeseen stuff I have to do that will take me away from home for 24 hours. That might not seem like much, but I am trying to be ready for camping this weekend.
The list as it is now:
* DONE! - Finish caulking perimeter of vinyl flooring
* DONE! - Install shoemoulding.
* Can wait until whenever - Install vinyl flooring in front storage compartment.
* Is OK for now - will play with it when camping (maybe) - Adjust slide-out
* - Test water heater. <---- Failed water pressure test: a rubber gasket in the feed to the kitchen faucet must have fallen out and gotten thrown in the garbage (I'm usually good about keeping things like that when I find them...). I'll have to replace the fitting or get a rubber seal out of a new one.
* DONE! - Test bathtub and check drain to ensure it's not leaking (I saw signs of water leaking there when I took the vinyl flooring off beside it). Fix if necessary.
* Tuesday evening - Find carriage bolts longer than 3" and install them.
* Monday evening - Seal opening in floor under shower and in water heater cabinet.
* Whenever I get them - Switch all the bulbs to LEDs
* DONE! - Repair plastic wheel fenders with fibreglass, and install and seal
* Thursday - Install Tension bar levelling system and anti-sway friction bar.
* Friday - Clean EVERYTHING on the exterior - interior is pretty clean now that the new floor is in.
* Thursday - Get 2 new tires.
Here are some pictures of the fender repair. The plastic layer is so thin, that the stress of the road causes cracks to occur around the screw holes. I didn't want to add too much material to the wall thickness, but I had to add something. The solution I came up with was to add 1 layer of fibreglass cloth with some resin.
I glued on the pieces that had broken off (but were still attached to the trailer). See the little piece on the right side still attached to the trailer?

And then I coated with resin each screw hole area on the fenders (8 holes each, so 16 in total), and added the fibreglass cloth and then some more resin, and then let dry:

Now, it's getting pretty cold, so it took a long time to get it to cure enough so that I could trim it. Once it stopped being sticky, I transferred them to the garage to cure. After a couple hours, I was able to trim off the excess, and drill a hole for the screw:

One one screw hole, the
piece left behind on the trailer wasn't as big as the hole in the fender: I lost a little piece. SO I decided to deal with that piece a little later with some auto body repair compound. For now, I will just give it a backing with fibreglass, and see how it holds up:

Here is what the bathroom floor looks like with the moulding added:

More to come! :)
