Can you get there by TC and how are the roads out of Page AZ...are the trailheads far from the slots

Lighting is everything in the slot canyons. We were there in October and it was amazing. The Navajo guides say it is best for lighting when the sun is direct overhead May-July (but hot!!). Also, if there is a threat of heavy rain, no go due to flash flood risk.
